You’re welcome Nebraska! These super thunderstorm cells come flying over the Colorado Rocky Mountains and head out east to the plains. A normal spring summer day on the Rocky Mountains foothills is waking up to clear blue skies over the mountains. By 1:00 pm the clouds start rolling in and building over the foothills sometimes by 3:00 to 4:00

Tuesday June 24th, 2014 the storms keep rolling in every afternoon. This was a good one because it came in right after sunset. There were a ton of cloud to cloud and inter-cloud burst. Not my real favorite to shoot. This is a view of lightning bursting out of a thunderhead cloud above a country lake in Southwest Weld County, south of Meade and Berthoud Colorado. Scenic rural nature county landscape view looking towards a group of old cottonwood trees with a sunset sky. When the wind blows it looks like these trees are dancing to the golden sunlight. Back country dirt road in Boulder County, Colorado with the mood of rain in the air and thunderstorm overhead. This is the last one from Jackson Lake State Park, Morgan County, Colorado. Rural lights, light up the clouds, as the Milky Way rises across the night sky, during no moon in May. This is my favorite out of the series.
